Calista West founded her eponymous jewelry brand in 2017 after completing the Graduate Diamonds Program at the Gemological Institute of America in New York City. With a deep passion for fine jewelry and a forward looking vision for a more modern, client centered experience, she set out to redefine how meaningful pieces are sourced and created.

Her business was established on Nantucket Island, where she developed a private, by appointment model that moved away from traditional retail and toward a more intimate and personalized approach. From the beginning, her work has been rooted in discretion, trust, and a deep understanding of her clients’ individual style and milestones.

As a private jeweler, Calista offers all of the services of a traditional jeweler, reimagined through a highly tailored, one-on-one experience. She works closely with each client to source exceptional diamonds and gemstones or to create custom pieces that are both timeless and deeply personal. With access to a global network of trusted dealers and master craftsmen, she ensures that quality, transparency, and value are never compromised.

Relationships remain at the core of her work, with many clients returning over time for life’s most meaningful moments.

Now based full time in Boston since the fall of 2025, Calista works privately from her Beacon Hill showroom, where her approach continues to be shaped by a deep appreciation for meaning, legacy, and enduring design. She travels worldwide for private, in person consultations upon request.

Originally from the countryside of northeastern Pennsylvania, Calista spent her summers on Nantucket beginning in 1989 before relocating there full time in 2003. She now lives in Boston with her son, Asher, aptly named after the diamond shape, whose presence has brought an even deeper sense of meaning to her work.
